What is Oral Thrush? It's a Yeast Infection in the the mucous membranes of the mouth caused by Candida Albicans . How do you get it? Wearing Dentures, and taking Antibiotics, Drug treatment such as Chemotherapy, Diabetes, Drug abuse, and Aids. Thrush can cause a burning sensation in the mouth and throat. I've seen photos of some severe cases where the mouth is completely white (like someone has eaten vanilla icecream)
