Garlic and Yeast Infections

According to some researchers in the field, yeast infections can be caused through a weakened immune system. It has long been known (since the ancient Egyptians and Greeks) that garlic is excellent in restoring the immune system. A clove of garlic is rich in vitamin A and C, B-complex and various minerals including selenium, iodine, potassium, iron, calcium, zinc and magnesium.

For best results crush a fresh garlic clove and rub the juice on to the affected area.

Dangers of leaving Yeast Infections Untreated

One worry is that if left untreated, yeast infections can develop into a medical condition called sepsis which is a blood bacterial infection. This can be deadly.

It can also be passed on to others like your girlfriend through physical contact or through sharing towels etc.

If you are anything like me though, you will probably leave it untreated for years and years. This is so typical males (especially New Zealand men). But, look after yourself. Don't put up with it and don't think you are more of a man for putting up with it. A real man will get it treated quickly.
